01 coastal candle co.

For a class project, given the restrictions of 3 chosen Pantone colors, the ability to only use 3 fonts, and the theme of “candles,” I created Coastal Candle Co. After developing brand guidelines, I created a 3-color label, 4-color process stickers, and a paperboard matchbox. Coastal Candle Co. is a luxury candle brand, with a vintage and coastal flair.

For a class project, I was tasked with designing a brand and corresponding marketing collateral. I have always loved coffee shops and strawberries, so Very Berry Cafe was born! After creating brand guidelines, I created a business card, marketing brochure, VDP booklet (with 6 personalized versions), and an 8-page story booklet & marketing campaign. My dream is to bring this shop to life one day!

“The fact that Camryn has continued with us into a fifth semester with the UPIC program should be all the evidence that one needs of the value that she adds to the Office of Communications and Public Relations in the College of Education. Camryn is such a reliable intern and so high-producing that I consider her and treat her like a full-time staff member. The work she produces has become such a vital part of how we communicate with our partners, friends, students and other stakeholders that our approach to video storytelling in the College has been permanently changed due to the collaborative relationship that she and I have developed over the last two-plus years. This is far more than most UPIC supervisors would expect from an intern, and it was wonderful to see Camryn’s work highlighted during one of this semester’s UPIC lunch and learns. She has raised the bar for what is expected in this position by essentially redefining what is possible in it.”

- Michael Staton, Marketing and Communications Director, Clemson University College of Education

For the past three years, I have served as the Public Relations & Social Media Intern for the Clemson University College of Education. In this role, I have explored video editing, graphic design, and public relations for higher education. For 12 students per semester, I have created three-post features across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, including 2 videos and 1 designed carousel, to showcase their accomplishments in the College of Education and across the Clemson Community. I have also designed multiple Faculty Feature Carousel posts for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Additionally, I have edited various other miscellaneous videos for the College of Ed, and this role has greatly increased my skills across Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and InDesign. Through the content I have created for the College of Ed, I have increased the reach on Facebook and Instagram, particularly increasing the impressions from non-followers.

04 Imagine creative design

As a part of my Summer-long internship with the Imagine Group in Charlotte, NC, I was tasked with 70+ graphic design projects for clients such as Bojangles, City Gear, and Hibbett Sports. Above, I was tasked with designing posters for new Bojangles store locations, advertising that the store is opening soon and training is in progress. One of the largest projects I had the chance to work on during this internship was Hibbett’s Back to School campaign. I was the lead designer for this project, creating multiple different design options for their marketing. Shown are just a few of the options that I had created. They also had specific marketing for their collaboration with Nike that I designed as well. These are just a few of the projects I had the chance to work on with Imagine, but I am happy to talk about this experience more!
